Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Dominates the WSBK round In Misano

Reigning FIM Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea and 2013 champion Tom Sykes once more came out on top during the Misano race weekend, with Rea and Sykes replicating Saturday's race result of Jonathan first and Tom second, albeit in a different kind of race. Rea's latest win puts him 66 points ahead of his official Ninja ZX-10R team-mate in the championship table, with just one more round at Laguna Seca to come before the long summer break begins.

John Parker off to a banner 2016 flat track season

John Parker has started the 2016 Canadian flat track season with a number of victories including wins at the season opener on May 15 in Woodstock, ON, where he claimed both his heat win and the final in the Veteran class on the 450 Kawasaki flat track bike. With a downpour of rain Friday night into Saturday morning, the Woodstock Fairgrounds event, scheduled for Saturday May 14, was postponed until Sunday afternoon. The large turnout of local Ontario riders as well as from Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Quebec spent an extra day in Woodstock to participate in the races. The following weekend on May 21 Parker headed to Paris Speedway in Paris, ON, where he again hammered down Vet wins in his heat race and the final. The highlight of the event, however, proved to be the domain of Parker’s protégé, Dave Pouliot, campaigning two John Parker Racing prepped Kawasakis in the Pro 450 and Pro Open. Kenny Riedmann has a strong start at the Canadian Superbike Championship Opener

  Kenny Riedmann had a strong weekend on board his Sturgess Cycle Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-10R at the opening round of the Canadian Superbike Championship at Shannonville Motorsports Park on May 27-29 Kenny Riedmann showed the power and handling prowess of the 2016 Ninja ZX-6R as he took the win in the Pro Sportbike class . Riedmann, who started from pole, took the lead on board his Sturgess Cycle Ninja ZX-6R on the first lap and never looked back. Maintaining a safe gap throughout the race, and finishing nearly 4 seconds ahead of former Superbike Champion Michael Taylor on his Triumph 675 who took 2nd. In the Pro Superbike class Riedmann had some tough competition with the strongest field in many, many years. He fought throughout the whole race in the top three and showed what the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R is capable of.
