Two More Wins for Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki at Round’s Three and Four of Canadian Arenacross Series

Maier takes another pair of wins at Cloverdale
Kamloops, BC(October 28, 2014) The Future West Canadian Arenacross Series returned to action this past weekend as the series rolled into the Agriplex in Cloverdale, British Columbia and coming off a pair of victories in Armstrong, the Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki team looked to keep the momentum high.
After sweeping the Pro Lites class in Armstrong, Iowa’s Teddy Maier was ready to put in another strong showing and wasted no time as he made it three straight in the class with a victory on Friday night. He backed up the win with a second place finish in the Pro Open class.
Saturday night’s action would not start off as well for the Two-Time Canadian MX Champion as another competitor’s bike flew into him on the first lap of the Pro Lites main event, severely cutting his arm open. In an unbelievable showing, he bandaged his arm up and went out and gutted out and incredible win in the Pro Open main event before heading directly to the hospital to get stitched up. Despite the injury, Maier sits only one point out of the Pro Lites points lead and three points behind in the Pro Open championship standings.
Prince George, BC’s Jess Pettis had another consistent weekend, with a best finish of 7th, in Saturday’s Pro Lites main event.
The series now takes two weekends off before resuming on November 28th at Chilliwack, BC’s Heritage Park. For more information on the Future West Arenacross Series, check out www.arenacross.ca
