Tomac Soars to Ninth Victory; Hill Clinches 250SX West championship in Salt Lake

Round 15 of Monster Energy Supercross in Salt Lake City closed with significant victories for Kawasaki riders Justin Hill and Eli Tomac. Eli Tomac, on his KX450F, charged to his ninth win of the season, securing sole ownership of the points lead and the red plate. Tomac now stands three points ahead of rival, Ryan Dungey.
In the Western Regional 250SX Class, Justin Hill earned the championship title aboard his KX250F—a victory that marks his first career Monster Energy Supercross championship.
"This is a dream come true," said Hill. "The team and I worked hard this year and it paid off. I knew I had a chance to win this from day one and believed that all the way through. I'm excited for what the future holds for me next."
