April 22, 2008

After a long winter, Team Two Wheel has come out of hibernation swinging. The team has undergone a major overhaul for the 2008 season, starting with the signing of new riders and new sponsors. For the new season Factory effex has come on board to help the bikes look better than ever. Pro Action and RK Engines have got the bikes pulling and going straight, and Fly Racing have us looking the best in the pits.

Ryan Lillie the newest rider on the team showed he's up to the challenge by finishing third overall in the stacked MX2  Intermediate class on his KX 250F, with only his first race of the 2008 campaign.

Jason Rauwerda showed that he has the speed needed to run with the front runners but his lack of Florida training time compared with other riders was evident as he faded to top ten finishes.

Cody Golem showed that his mid-winter injury was no longer a bother as he finished the first MX2 Intermediate moto in the runner up position on his super fast KX250F, but a crash in the second moto forced him to pull off early.

Graeme Nelson, the vet and plus 25 rider of the team, put his new KX450F onto the  podium finishing both his classes in the third position.

With the great weather we hade over the last weekend, we  hope that the season goes as well. We could never do this without our great sponsors. Two Wheel Motorsport, Pro Action Suspension, Fly Racing, Factory effex, RK Engine Works, Dragon Optics, Kawasaki Canada, Ogio, and Motos for Moms.
