Team Wheel Motorsport rocks the Ontario provincial championship over the past weekend. The Walton double header is a must for all in the championship, and as title sponsors for the weekend we wanted to put our best foot forward. The team would also like to announce the addition of a new team rider as we try to diversify the team and build for the future. Jamie Hajgato will bring to the team a great amount of speed and heart to the team and we look forward to working with him. As we look foreword to the future we can only hope for the success we have had in the past.
Ryan Lillie worked through an early week injury to but his KX250F on the final spot on the podium in the GP intermediate class, but a dnf in moto one of the mx2 class dampened his chances of a second podium on the day. Ryan is doing a great job this season and we are always looking foreword to watching his exiting riding style and charisma on the track.
Graeme Nelson rode smooth all day to take a very impressive third place in the vet master class and fifth in the plus 25 class. The KX450 seamed to be the right choice for him as he seams to be having a great season and is proud of his accomplishments.
Jason Rauwerda is back from the injury list after breaking his collar bone in an early season crash at Moto Park , and is showing great speed and we cant wait to see him back in full strength
Bobby Davies and Jamie Hajgato had great performances on there Two Wheel backed KX250f's in there qualifiers but rain and bad luck hit hard in the finals and hampered their finishes in the main's. We know that better results are coming and look foreword to the coming weeks
Kim Emery used the weekend to get prepared for the upcoming nationals and finished the Ladies class just inside the top five, as she sits in twelfth place in the super deep field of the women's nationals. We wish her luck out west.
As the team goes into the final stretch of the series we could never do this without our great sponsors Two Wheel Motorsport, Pro Action suspension, Kawasaki Canada, Fly Racewear, RK race engines, Alpine car audio, Easton handle bars, Dragon Optics, Ogio and Factory Effex.
