Shawn Maffenbeier and his KX250 win the Triple Crown Series

Monster Energy/ Alpinestars/ Pillar's/ Kawasaki rider, Shawn Maffenbeier, clinched the first ever Triple Crown Series Championship - which spanned Canadian Arenacross, Motocross and Supercross - in the 250 Pro. He earned the no.1 plate for his Kawasaki KX250 at the finals in Hamilton, Ontario.
Strong rides also came from other team members, AMA Supercross rider, Mike Alessi, who led for 4 laps in the 450 final until going down in a corner, fought back hard and climbed back up to 5th. Fellow 450 class teammate, Tyler Medaglia, was also in the mix in the final until he was t-boned by a questionable pass attempt, which forced him into a 12th place finish.
