Podium For Guarnoni And New Ninja ZX-10R In Superstock
April 18, 2016
After only two rounds of the 2016 Superstock 1000 FIM Cup the all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R took its first podium finish in the hands of Frenchman Jeremy Guarnoni (Pedercini Racing Kawasaki) at Assen. Guarnoni was second, for what was his 12th career Superstock top three finish.
After two attempted race starts the third and final one developed into a nine lap race. Guarnoni led the chasing group behind the eventual race winner at the right moment and scored 20 important points. After an unlucky no-score in the first race in Aragon two weeks ago Guarnoni has risen to fourth in the championship, with a seven rounds to go.
