Nigel Sapriken's Race report Apr 6 2008
April 23, 2008
My first race of the year in Kamloops, B.C on Sunday April 6. After practice, It felt really good to be on a race track for the first time this year. In my first 85cc moto I got off to an ok start, and I had to work my way through the pack to a 7th place finish. In my 2nd 85cc moto my start was much better. I made passes earlier in the race to finish a respectable 5th place for a 6th place overall.
In moto 1 of my supermini race I finished 9th after coming from a near last place start. In moto 2 I made passes early from the start and finished a respectable 8th overall, out of 16 riders. For the first race of the year I was a little nervous but finished respectable. I have a few things to improved on and will continue a positive out look for the next race.
I would like to thank Canadian Kawasaki, Kal Lake motorsports, Pro circuit, and my family for your continued support. See you at the races.
