Kaven Benoit’s Race Report - Sainte-Sophie-de-Levrard

September 16, 2009

Last weekend, I went to Sainte-Sophie-de-Levrard, Quebec for the last round of the MX La Relève Championship. Once again, the conditions on the track weren't ideal due to the rain we had overnight on Friday.

Saturday, on the first day of the competition, I won both rounds in the GP Pro-AM category. On Sunday, I unfortunately began the race with a DNF because I fell into the mud and broke the gaz handle on my bike. I made up for it afterwards by winning the other two races held that day.

I had a lot of fun racing on this new track and I am now preparing for the provincial championship which will be held in Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil. I must achieve a perfect score to take back the first position of the provincial championship in the Pro categories.
