Jacob Hayes Wins Inaugural Monster Energy Canadian Arenacross Tour Championship

November 10, 2015

Three more wins for Hayes at final weekend of series in Calgary

The 2015 Monster Energy Arenacross Tour reached its conclusion this past weekend as the series headed to Calgary, Alberta and the Agrium Center. For the Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki team, expectations were high with team rider, Jacob Hayes, leading the title chase coming into the final rounds and Chris Blose sitting in third. Hayes also had a chance at the $25,000 Parts Canada Triple Crown, needing to take just one win of the final two Clash for Cash main events to clinch it, doing just that.

Hayes started his weekend off by taking Friday’s Pro Open main event win and a pair of seconds in the Lites main and Clash for Cash events, respectively. He still needed one more Clash for Cash win to take the extra 25 grand for the Parts Canada Triple Crown and he would make it happen on Saturday night as he grabbed both the Clash for Cash and the Pro Open wins. His great weekend was good enough to sweep all three championships. Hayes was happy with his weekend: “Man, I’m so happy with how my weekend went. This was my first Pro championship and it couldn’t have gone any better, especially with winning the Triple Crown, I’m just so stoked. It’s been awesome to be a part of the new series and I’ve got to give a huge thanks to my team for making this all possible.”

Chris Blose had another consistent weekend, finishing in third place in five out of the six main events. He would finish the season in second place to Hayes in the Pro Lites championship and third overall in both the Pro Open and Clash for Cash championships.
