Where it all started: digging into the roots of Kawasaki

Kawasaki's origins date back to the late 1800s, when Shozo Kawasaki established 'Kawasaki Tsukiji Shipyard' in Toyko, Japan. One of the company's earliest and most historical projects to this day, is the 'First Dry Dock Construction' in Kobe, Japan, which was completed in 1902. The story behind the dry-dock construction is inspiring, as a team comes together to make the seemingly impossible, possible. To this day, the Kawasaki company maintains that committed, courageous and determined focus in every thing we do and every vehicle we build.
