Successful weekend for Jacob Hayes and Chris Blose at Sarnia

October 13, 2015(Kamloops, British Columbia)
After a weekend off, the 2015 Monster Energy Canadian National Arenacross Tour resumed this past weekend at Hiawatha Park, in Sarnia, Ontario. With a successful debut weekend in London, Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki riders, Jacob Hayes and Chris Blose looked to keep the momentum high and build on their impressive finishes which they did with three main event wins for Hayes and neither rider missing the podium through all six of the weekend’s main events.

Jacob Hayes again proved to be the favorite for the AX Tour title as he made it a perfect eight for eight in qualifying heat races so far this season as he completed another perfect sweep of wins in the AX Lites and AX Pro heat races at Sarnia. On Friday night, he took the win in the AX Pro main event and finished runner up in both the AX Lites main and the Clash for Cash. On Saturday night, he went on to sweep the wins in both the AX Lites and AX Pro main events before again finishing runner up in the Clash for Cash. He currently leads the points standings in the AX Lites class, is third in the AX Pro class and second in the Clash for Cash standings.

It was another consistent weekend for Chris Blose as he finished with the same results both nights, finishing runner up in both the AX Lites and AX Pro main events before finishing third in both Clash for Cash’s. He also picked up a heat race win by taking Saturday’s AX Lites win. His consistency sees him leading the AX Pro points standings after four rounds while he sits in second, behind his teammate, Hayes, in AX Lites and third in the Clash for Cash standings.

The series moves over to the west coast now for Rounds five and six, at Penticton, British Columbia’s South Okanogan Events Center, on October 23rd and 24th.
