Steven King's Race ReportQuesnel ANQ and Interior Series Race May 3rd-4th
May 9, 2008
On Saturday morning in the 1st Junior moto I didn't get a very good start and placed 8th. The second moto was a little bitter better, I placed 7th. Overall I placed 7th for the day.
In the first moto in the Junior GP class I placed 2nd and 3rd in the second moto. My overall placing was 3rd for the day.
On Sunday I had a much better day. In the first Junior moto I placed 5th and the second moto I placed 6th. Overall I placed 6th. In the Junior GP class I placed 3rd in the first moto and 3rd in the second moto. Overall placing 3rd for the day. I qualified for the Western Amateur Nationals in the Junior GP class.
I'm just coming back 5 weeks after a shoulder dislocation and separation and I'm not quite as strong as I would normally be. I'm also still on my 125cc Kawasaki so it's a little harder to keep up with the big boys, (hoping for a new 250F soon). All in all though it was a good race weekend and the volunteers did a great job. I'm looking forward to another ANQ in Kamloops this weekend where I hope to improve in some areas of my riding. Hopefully I can qualify for the Western Amateur Nationals in the Junior class this weekend .I'd like to thank all my sponsors: Kawasaki Canada, Steel mx, Pro Circuit and mom and dad for getting me to the races.
