It is a new year, but for Jordan Szoke and his rivals in the Parts Canada Superbike Championship the 2007 season is looking a lot like 2006.

As the national motorcycle road race series hits the halfway pole at Mosport International Raceway this weekend Szoke has won the first three races of the season and the Canadian Kawasaki Motors factory rider enjoys a commanding lead in the point standings with four rounds to go.

Last year the Brantford, Ont. arrived at Mosport in a similar situation and proceeded to sweep the doubleheader on his way to his third Canadian Superbike crown.

Szoke will also be aiming to stand alone as the winningest racer in Canadian National Superbike history this weekend. His sweep of the doubleheader two weeks ago at Calgary’s Race City Motorsport Park tied him with Steve Crevier on 23 wins.
