Nigel Sapriken's Race Report - Kamloops June 6

June 12, 2009

This was the second race of the year for me and I was feeling great and my Kawasaki was running awesome. This race I rode the supermini class and the junior class.

In the first moto of my supermini moto I got a great start and was in about forth, while battling with someone the whole way but unfortunately I had gone too fast into a corner that forced me too wide and was passed on the inside so I settled for 5th.

On the first moto of my junior class I was riding my KX100 in MX1 Jr class. I didn’t get the greatest of starts and had to fight my way up and ended up in 12th. Not too bad for riding with the big bikes for the first time with a small bike

For the second set of moto’s in my supermini class I got a much better start but someone clipped my rear tire and I fell down in the second corner. Once I got up I went with aggression from 22nd for a respectable 7th for the moto and a 6th overall.

In my second moto for the junior class I got a much better start but the race was soon red flagged and not re started due to a very bad crash. So overall in that class I ended up in 10th overall.

I would like to thank my sponsors Canadian Kawasaki Motors / Mr. Chris Pearson and Kal Lake Motorsports for the awesome bike and all the support.

See you at the races Nigel Sapriken #22
