Marco Dube Race Report - Trois Riviere

July 15, 2009

Last weekend I went to Trois‐Riviere for a Provincial round. I went out only on Sunday because there was a lot of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday.

I competed in 3 classes, the Vet Master (in which I won all motos), MX2 and MX1. In MX2 I had some great races. I finished 2nd in both races behind Kevin Benoit. There was not much missing for the victory, only a real sand paddle tire. I did not think we were going to have those conditions so I did not have any with me.

MX1, first race.
After a few corners, Marc‐Antoine Généreux fell in front of me; I was already in the air so I couldn’t avoid his bike so I fell at the turn. Unfortunately I broke my rear brake, so I did the whole race without the brake. I managed to finished 4th. In the last race, I had a good start, second behind Simon Homans, I stayed there for the entire race and I finished only a wheel distance behind Simon. Once again, the right tires would have helped me a lot.

Next weekend, I am racing an arenacross in Montmagny. It’s a race from the Supercross Quebec Series.
