Sand De Lee June 7/8 OPC

The rain held off for Saturday and Sunday but the week prior to the race the track got drenched with 10 inches of rain, which made Saturday's race conditions very muddy. Saturday June 7th MX1 Intermediate moto 1, I got a great jump out of the gate and was 3rd around the first corner and stayed in front of the pack the whole race battling back and forth for 2nd but ended the race in 3rd place. MX1Intermediate moto 2 started with another great start, 2nd around the first turn I rode strong the whole race and finished the race with a 3rd place finish. With two 3rd place finishes I ended the day off with a 3rd place overall finish.

MX2 Intermediate, I got off to a slow start and was near the back of the pack and worked my way through the pack in 3 laps to finish the race in 9th place. Moto 2 I had a better start, rode the moto strong until I had to pull my goggles off. I lost a couple positions but still ended up in 8th place with a 7th place overall finish.

Sunday June 8 MX2 Intermediate moto 1, I got off to a slow start but was working my way through the pack, while doing so I was taken out by a slower rider cutting across the track. I finished the moto in 15th place. MX2 Intermediate moto 2, I got pinched off in the first corner and was in 11th place and worked my way through the pack in 5 laps to finish the race in 9th place. I ended the day with a 12th place overall finish. MX1 intermediate moto 1, the track was better near the end of the day. I had a good start in moto 1 and finished the race in 5th place. In the second moto I had a great start and finished the race in 3rd place. I ended the day off with a 5th place overall finish.

I would like to thank my sponsors Kawasaki Canada, Mckee sport, Hindle Pipes and Castrol Canada for all their support.

Looking forward to the last ANQ on June 15th at Walton.
