Round 2 and 3 of the Ontario Provincial Series

Saturday May 23rd, 2009 - The weather was nice but the track was a little muddy due to over watering. Also the San Del Lee officials added a twist to the start by making it a right hand turn and running the track backwards. In the first MX1 moto, I got a bad jump off the line and ended up in 11th. The second moto went better, with a good jump off the line and a 6th place start, to finish the race in 7th. I placed 7th overall for the day in MX1 Intermediate.

MX3 Intermediate: I jumped off the line and into the right hand start, coming out of the first turn in 8th. I finished the race in 9th place. During the second moto, I had a great 3rd place start, and I was reeling in 2nd and 1st place, until the 3rd lap, where I crashed and bit a hole right through my tongue. I ended end up 16th overall.

Sunday, May 24th, 2009 - The weather was great and the track was well-maintained. I was now used to the right hand start. I also had to get used to the swollen tongue from my accident the day before.

Moto #1 in MX1 Intermediate - I was 5th around the first corner, to end the race in 7th place. At the second moto, I came around the first corner in 2nd and held that position for two laps, until I unfortunately got a rear flat tire and ended the race in 16th. I placed 13th overall for the day.

MX3 Intermediate Moto #1 - I took the first right hand corner for the 7th time this weekend. I came around the corner in 12th place to finish the race in 9th. At the second moto, I got a 3rd place start. I rode strongly and aggressively the whole race and finished in 4th place, scoring 4th overall for the day.
