Canadian Champion to ride MotoGP!

Canadian Kawasaki Motors is pleased to announce that factory racer and current back-to-back Superbike champion, Jordan Szoke, will ride Kawasaki’s flagship Ninja early next month in Valencia, Spain. Canadian champion Szoke will participate in the annual press day at the final round of the MotoGP championship. 

Aboard the prototype 800cc ZX-RR Ninja, Szoke will ride along side with racing legends and today’s elite in the motorsport industry. As part of an exclusive story with Cycle Canada, Szoke will take part in the event to provide a turn-by-turn description of riding a MotoGP machine at the limit at a world class facility.  Already accustomed to the accolades of success in Superbike competition, the Moto GP experience is still undeniably the pinnacle of any road racing career.

Moto GP is the world’s premier championship series, spanning 16 countries with a gruelling 18 event schedule as the best of the best compete for road racing supremacy.  Kawasaki’s MotoGP campaign includes a stable of carefully prepared machinery, with well over 200hp and capable of speeds possible in excess of 300km/h.  Szoke will be hard pressed to contain his excitement. “This opportunity is something that every racer dreams about,” commented Jeff Comello, Team Manager of the Canadian Kawasaki Road Race Team.  “Due to Jordan’s tremendous success, Kawasaki has recognized his achievements and arranged for him to experience MotoGP.”  

As a true champion, Szoke is humble in his accomplishment. “It's probably the biggest accomplishment of my life," said Szoke.  "All the training and everything I worked so hard for has been for this day.”
